I know Ray is quite vehemently against nitric oxide and all things which raise it, but instead of a tablet of viagra/sildenafil, would a cream or topical on the penis shaft be much less harmful? I know it's not going to be 'good for you', but i wanted to hear everyones expertise on whether this is likely to cause a large amount of systemic damage? Was thinking of some USP sildenafil in either DMSO/ethanol?

Slightly odd one I know, but really appreciate any help, thanks.

Like you said...you already know the answer to this. My question is why?

If you are having problems in that area you need to fix the system. Anything that increases CO2 should help. Something like methylene blue, aspirin, vitamin E, glycine would be worth trying as starters. I'd stay away from rubbing anything topically.

Thanks for this. I know the whole metabolic picture needs to be addressed, I’m just looking for the least damaging route for the occasional time where I want to perform at my best. Never heard much on the topical route so I thought I’d ask everyone’s opinion.

I avoid it like the plague now but when I used to take it I found that if you take it sublingually (let it dissolve in your mouth) you can take a smaller dose and it acts faster. I would use 1/8 of a tablet.

It might be much more potent transdermally. Don't do that. You might permanently damage your penis or hearing.

Don't look for a quick fix. If you want help. Take more of the pro-metabolic substances like vitamin E, caffeine, and of course aspirin, which will have a potent effect on your erections. In fact aspirin is just as effective as Cialis, with none of the terrible side effects.
