I’m unclear on this. Salt is sodium chloride. Is that just table salt?

My label says “fine sea salt”. Is the chloride removed? Or is still both.

To get 12g of sodium, how many tsp/tbsp of salt would be needed?

When we say on here that we need 12-20g of salt. Are we reffering to 12-20g of just sodium? Or 12-20 of sodium chloride?

Roughly salt is 1/2 by weight sodium, 1/2 chlorine.
Roughly, again, 1 tsp is 4 grams.

I was far off. 1 tsp salt according to Internet results is variously 5.69, 5.9, 6 grams. I must have confused with some other white granular substance.
