According to Cronometer, ny diet lacks manganese. I currently eat eggs, low fat milk, orange juice and cottage cheese. Is pineapple a good source, or is its serotonin content too high to eat it every day?

Pineapple is fine IMO.

Other sources are maple syrup, white rice, wild blueberries, coconut water, potatoes, strawberries.

The coconut water I get says on the side that 1 cup has 45% manganese. A friend of mine turned me on to making white rice with coconut water instead of water. Makes a slightly sweet rice and adds some minerals.

I am not certain about the safety of pineapples these days. They suddenly seem to be incredibly sweet. The experiment with GMO pineapples has only just begun. It may seem harsh, but for now GMOpineapple.jpg.w560h560.jpg . . .
