Niacinamide & Coconut oil on skin

Hey guys, I recently got a sunburn (not very bad) and all I had on hand is coconut oil and b3. So I tried to dissolve it to use it on the skin. This wasn't very successful, so I had to heat it in the microwave. Will this damage b3 beyond functionality? A few seconds in the microwave and it quickly dissolved into the coconut oil (and a bit of water I added). Drank some tea, but otherwise no caffeine on hand.

Thanks.

I've slapped on niacinamide dissolved in water (along with dissolved aspirin) on sunburn, and then shortly after applied coconut (and maybe other) oil. I thought the B-vits were all more water soluble than fat-soluble. I've not found water and coconut oil to mix well yet, at any temperature.

I guess I won't find out. Sunburn is done healing and there was no peeling :)
No discernible difference between the spots of concentrated b3 and the spots that only got coconut oil (I did the right vs left half of my body).
