Flax Substitute For Flatbread

Hey all.

I'm a mostly recovered keto-er. Well-done keto has a place, but I did lazy keto for a while and included some less than wise foods. One of those foods was flax bread, which I came to love, and used it as a staple for a while. It was basically ground flax seeds and eggs with a little salt and baking soda, with the option of adding some herbs. I have a greater understanding of the damage flax oil from the seeds can cause, so I'd like to create something else I can eat and be happy with while I adjust my ways.

I'm looking for something that I can use in a flatbread recipe instead of ground flax seeds. I'm not a big fan of coconut flour because it doesn't have the taste and texture I'm looking for, unless someone has a recipe that's truly remarkable. I'm open to it, I just have doubts. Since part of the reason I'm strict with my foods is that I have about 30 pounds to lose, I'm avoiding starches.

Any ideas?
