Biopharm 1% Methylene Blue not USP, still safe? Anyone tried?

I bought some Biopharm 1% w/v methylene blue from ebay but didn't realize I bought the non-USP type. Anyone have any experience with this? What types of contaminants might there be, or what types or problems might it cause? Wondering if I should consider it a waste and buy the USP or not.

I would only use at minimum USP quality or better. USP still leaves uo to 2% for some garbage. Buy USP or pure (e.g. 99,9%) MB and then do capsules or fluids yourself.

I use USP only, i do not take a lot only 5 drops a day of the 1%. The fish stuff is cheap but how long does a fish last so heavy metals may not be bad in this case. I do not know what contaminants are in MB, there are lots of stories but i have seen no data.
