Is Penicillin VK for aquarium use safe to use? Has anyone tried this? Here's the one I was looking at Aquarium Penicillin VK 250mg - 100 tablets-KD-10016 . It is USP.

Haidut recently mentioned that animal drugs go through more stringent regulations than human drugs
It’s my understanding that if it’s USP it’s the same medication dispensed in pharmacies for use humans. I’ve used fish/bird doxycycline, minocycline and amoxicillin several times over the years without issue.
