Now I've learned that GABA will work in crossing the blood-brain-barrio, if combined with niacin. Anyone try this supplement?

I haven't tried it, but have read that others find it overrated/disappointing. Phenibut is better.

Yes. It has a harsh rebound effect the days following usage. It is very addictive because it makes you feel relaxed and euphoric, so it becomes a trap if you continue dosing everyday. I fell into that trap in 2014 summer when I binged on phenibut for 2 weeks straight. I had horrible withdrawals and thought I was going to die. Not even heavy alcohol consumption could get my out of the phenibut withdrawal (phenibut hits the GABA-B receptor, alcohol hits only the GABA-A). I would not use it more then once a week to avoid this scenario.
