cyproheptadine for weight gain

I'm 5 foot 9 and around 135 lbs, I don't have much of an appetite

I have tried periactin before, and it gave me a good appetite. I'm worried, some forums say the weight you gain is just useless body fat, anyone have any thoughts? I was taking 4mg day

Cyproheptadine is only increasing your appetite and can increase metabolism.
The kind of weight gain depends on what kind of foods you will be eating
with increased appetite. Nutritious diet and Protein with adequate carbohydrate can give
you muscle and other than muscle, weight gain will be in fat or water.
Good thyroid function helps with increased muscle build up.

I'm pretty sure I woke up with headaches when taking it too, was strange

You can slowly increase the dose and you may have very little side effects.
I used to get sleepy with half mg and now i can take 1 mg twice a day without
any kind of side effects.
