    Which is superior?

I know that theanine also has anti-cortisol effects and pro-gaba effects, and that beta-alanine may have some sort of pro-histamine qualities so I'm leaning towards theanine powder but am still undecided.

The answer will likely influence my future supplement choices.

edit: I also have no means of getting cyproheptadine or any of the stronger things.

Why don’t you try them yourself?

Not sure I have a specific answer for you, but I can say that theanine is the best OTC supplement for anxiety that I've tried. 1 gram of theanine (which is more than most people take) is more powerful than .5 lorazepam for me. It's also extremely safe. Great for emergency situations.

Theanine is great for calmness and relaxation, though beta alanine reportedly has benefits for exercise and gaba receptors. Try both, but I'd vote for theanine personally.

Beta alanine depletes taurine I think. I noticed really bad problems after taking it for about a year. Take theanine.

What if you take 4g supplemental beta alanine and 1g taurine a day? Doesnt taurine via supplement deplete beta alanine? Should both these be avoided then

If you're exercising then a beta-alanine+taurine approach seems to be the best (beta-alanine has seriously the most impressive benefits on athletic performance out of any amino acid I've studied). I would ingest them at different times though, e.g. beta-alanine in the morning, taurine at night, as beta-alainine is a taurine transporter inhibitor. It also actually seems to be anti-histaminergic - it forms carnosine by binding to histidine in the body?

Beta does bind to histidine but ive read its pro histamine production too?

Would 5g creatine mono, 4g beta alanine and 2g taurine, offset serotinin enough to where you could take 600mg ashwaganda KSM 66, 3 times a week, and not have any issues with ash raising serotonin.

Bit random but would watching porn or binge shopping or doing a big binge eating weekly cheatday, raise dopamine and counteract ashwaganda use?
