1:56:57 Q: Best supplements to boost energy before a Rugby game (Intense Exercise)-Caffeine should be taken with Sugar to avoid stress response-Lowering serotonin has anti fatigue effect; -Blocking Acidosis (Lactic acid) response is beneficial; -Baking soda, Beta-alanine & Methelyne Blue are all effective acidosis blocking performance enhancers; -Non-sedating serotonin antagonist would be ideal-Cyprohepdatine has brief sedating effect but can increase performance by 20%
2:00:34 Q How to increase bread growth, bone density and strength with elevating T3 and DHT: -T3 & Topical Androgens and Androgen precursors are likely to increase beard density
2:02:10 Q Is there a chance to restart testosterone... (Confusing question): -Danny’s poor thoughts on testosterone replacement therapy; -Most harm from TRT stems from esters used in them; -Raw testosterone dissolved in tocopherol is powerful at low doses and is safer-Testosterone in low doses by itself is potent aromatase (estrogen) inhibitor-Testosterone metabolism is usually downstream but goes upstream with over saturation and with high ester dosages-Logorrhea: Estrogen induced autoimmuncondition (People that talk incoherently)
2:09:16 Q: What can be done to rememdy histamine intoloerance that is causing systemic and circulatory problems:-Histamine intolerance likely due to digestion problems-Aspirin taken with glycine can eliminate allergic reactions-Aspirin with baking soda is another alternative

2:29:22 Q: Thoughts on seven keto-DHEA and its use for fat loss?-Seven Keto-DHEA is not recommended: Does not antagonize cortisol long term and lowers testosterone, lowers progesterone and pregnenalone synthesis
2:32:10 Q: Why might progesterone cause bile/gut issue?-Inability to meet bile acid need or low cholesterol is likely issue-Low cholesterol affects digestion
2:35:10 Q: Thoughts on research published by GM & Network suggesting sugar content in both soda and fruit juice contribute to shortened life spans?-Intervention studies with increased carbohydrate show opposite effect;-Stress is more likely to be the culprit—not sugar
2:37:39 Q:Should Calcium to phosphate ratio be monitored at every meal is a longer period acceptable to monitor?-Limiting muscle meats and increasing dairy is sufficient to shift the balance favourably-Sugar (particularly fructose) lowers phosphate-Parathyroid and Prolactin are sensitive to phosphate
2:40:10 Q: Is morning wood a sign of good health?-Morning wood is generally sign of high testosterone-Uncontrollable libido can also be caused by elevated estrogen-DHEA is ideal in upper 25% of normal range (more important than testosterone)-Quality of orgasm and ejaculation is indicative of good testosterone-POS: Post Orgasmic Syndrome (malaise after ejaculation) -Recovery after orgasm is good indicator of systemic health
2:43:24 Q: Ways to lower cholesterol safely?-Increase metabolism-30-50mg of pregnenalone (or other steroids high in cascade) can drop cholesterol significantly-2 quarts of milk lower cholesterol-Increase bile acid synthesis consumes cholesterol-Taurine increases bile acid synthesis
2:46:04 Q: Is blue light effective after acne causing bacteria?-Blue light is harmful (synthesizes nitric oxide and serotonin)
2:47:48 Q: Talk about Histamine intolerance?-Due to SIBO and insufficient stomach acid production-Other tips for intolerance
2:50:14 Q: Can Bruxism be fixed by lowering serotonin?-Yes it can be solved: it is sign of hypothyroidism and elevated serotonin-Bruxism has nightmares and is common in PTSD (High adrenaline, cortisol and serotonin)-Cyprohepdatine has been used to treat it
2:51:23 Q: What can be used besides antibiotics to lower bacteria in intestine?-Charcoal can be used although Ray Peat is not proponent of it;-Indigestible fiber can be used-Photodynamic therapy has promising anti-fungal and anti-biotic effect-Aspirin & Niacinimide have anti-bacterial effect -Spore bionics and bacteria phages are over counter options

This information from 2013, which is posted elsewhere on the forum, is my encouragement to take aspirin daily.

Do you take Georgi's Solban for your daily aspirin? What benefits have you experienced from taking it?

Solban great option that I do not happen to use. I have used aspirin daily for at least 6 years. I use powdered aspirin for horses and I typically dissolve it in my morning coffee. I buy the aspirin by the pound. The brand that I use is sold at Amazon - "ANIPRIN P EQ ASPIRIN 16 OUNCES" , It does not have the nasty binders that are needed to form tablets/pills.

I have not noticed anything special from taking aspirin. The old adage to follow the money generally works to explain why I continue using aspirin. Here the insurance industry has documented that aspirin is hurting the industry's bottom line. I find that to be more motivating than the bought-and-paid-for news stories about aspirin's harm to health and lifespan. There are threads on the forum about its benefits.

Ray recommends taking it with Vitamin K. "If vitamin K is used generously, aspirin wouldn’t be likely to cause a bleeding problem." Aspirin

I use two 1⁄8 teaspoons of aspirin in my coffee mug. For me, an 1⁄8 teaspoon looks to be about the same as an aspirin.

I often drink a second mug of coffee at lunch containing the same amount of aspirin. Getting enough vitamin K is important. Here is a deep link to the section on aspirin at Ray Peat Email Exchanges - Ray Peat Forum Wiki It is important to read this section if you plan on taking large amount of aspirin for a long period of time.

There is probably no need to take as much aspirin as I take. If you do decide take take large amounts, increase the amount you take over days or weeks.

3 a day keeps the doctor the hell away! Ha!
I been using the Geri Care aspirin. 325mg I think. Has only cornstarch listed as Other Ingredients! Easy to take as I take them at lunch, or on the go. I work outside so has to be pill form for me.
I work with so many people who are in pain. I’ll give them one or two and they and very impressed. But you bet the brainwashing is so deep they will never buy a F’ing bottle of aspirin. They instantly talk about having ibuprofen or Tylenol or some dumb product. You try telling them about studies in aspirin and their programming kicks in! Eyes cross. Zombie Pain fest returns. Ha!
Jokes aside I have gotten some people to really get it! I love being an aspirin pusher.
I love this thread! Thanks David!

PS I also do Giorgio’s Oxidal every morning! And lots of Kuinone K2!

Do you find the anaprin to have a bit of vinegar smell upon arrival? I got 2 tubs from amazon and each time they seemed to smell like this. I switched to the health Natura powder.

Mine has a slight vinegar smell as well. Aspirin breaks down into salicylic acid and acetic acid, and both of those are safe.

Salicylic acid in the serum of subjects not taking aspirin. Comparison of salicylic acid concentrations in the serum of vegetarians, non-vegetarians, and patients taking low dose aspirin
Conclusions—Salicylic acid, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, is present in fruits and vegetables and is found in higher concentrations in vegetarians than non-vegetarians. This suggests that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables contributes to the presence of salicylic acid in vivo. There is overlap between the serum concentrations of salicylic acid in vegetarians and patients taking aspirin,75 mg daily. These findings may explain, in part, the health promoting effects of dietary fruits and vegetables.

Great, I just was not sure if the same benefits were retained when it started to break down.

I keep mine in the freezer door with the 1/8 measuring spoon duct-taped to the lid on a piece of yarn. Open door, lid is on lightly, spoon in cup, replace spoon, shut door.
