From the show notes:
Male Infertility is on the rise and In today's episode we talk with Georgi Dinknov, independent researcher and founder of IdeaLabs and blogger at Haidut.me, about why this is happening. Georgi provides his insight into the decline in testosterone in males, why we're becoming more estrogen dominant as a society and then we discuss what we can do about it, so environmental, lifestyle and dietary factors that we can implement in order to increase testosterone (if you are a male). This information heavily applies to females, as well, who are dealing with estrogen dominance.

Our most recent podcast with Georgi Dinkov explores the connection between elevated estrogen, histamine, serotonin, and endotoxins, and how being in a low metabolic state feeds into this nasty cycle. In this particular clip, Georgi describes how healing the gut is dependent on the metabolic rate.
Thus, it’s important to consider along your healing journey that gut healing protocols that place no emphasis on improving the metabolic rate are not going to provide lasting results. If we don’t fix the underlying, systemic body state that led to the imbalance in the first place, there’s a high chance these issues will keep popping up.
Our environment largely works against us. We’re exposed to gut disrupting chemicals, pathogenic bacteria/parasites and so much more on a regular basis. Even things like our past trauma and ongoing stress affect the gut, of which are highly connected to elevated levels of serotonin and associated increased histamine, endotoxin, and nitric oxide.
EVERYTHING is connected. The latter half of the podcast dives into why we should stop looking at isolated symptoms and elevations and instead start addressing and improving the efficiency of the entire system. Our body IS a system, and does not operate as individual parts like a car.
