Happy to hear Sparky seemed to have some new found energy in his last days. A cat that is looking for food is a good sign :).
I think it's great that you took matters into your own hands instead of leaving his fate to the system, I'm sure he's forever greatful. RIP Sparky.

I'm sure we could've changed his outlook if he had of been a younger cat and we had started
Raw diet from the start

Sparky lived the good life. I'm sure he bequeathed a wealth of knowledge that can be passed on not only to favor a cat, but also you as well. He lived long under your care as well.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's better to go when you're at home, near people you know, than alone in a medical setting, near people you got to know a day or two ago. May he RIP.
