I'd like to see a thread where people suggest doctors (MD, DO, Functional, Holistic), health coaches/services, and/or related resources that are available that either promote or are, at the very least, receptive to/familiar with a Peat-inspired approach. If there isn't something that fits already, let's use this one.

Either list someone you've worked with personally or that you have it on very good authority that they are worth considering; maybe it's you, yourself. Give a name, location, website/phone.

I already know the doctor portion of the list will be short as it is damn near impossible to find one who even knows who RP is BUT, I figure it's worth a shot.

I'm sure I don't have to tell you, the health care system is SO broken and is going to hell in a hand basket. Capable doctors and medical professionals are jumping ship at an alarming rate. Most of the ones that are left or that are replacing them are frighteningly inept. This is not conjecture. I've seen it first hand, personally, and with family and friends - to the level of malpractice and death. I could share all too real, disturbing, current stories (and I'm sure others could, as well) but I'll save those for another post.

I get the impression that there are health coaches, researchers, and related fields that are familiar at worst, well-versed at best that aren't well known, either. Yes, there are popular names and social influencers, but I'm talking about the people who are accessible and open to working 1:1.

Maybe, if we start highlighting the talented, competent, compassionate professionals who are not just regurgitating the indoctrinated, mainstream narrative, we can help them help us and they will be encouraged to remain in practice.

Not 100 percent sure but thought I heard haidut say on a generative energy podcast he knows some doctors that are ray peat friendly and posted it somewhere or recommend them to some people.

But I could be misremembering.

I hope that's accurate and would love it if @haidut would share!

Self promotion alert: I do digestive coaching with Peat principles as my foundation. I struggled with Crohn's disease for years, eventually got off the medical path and on to the natural one. Better diet, mindset and supplements helped but it wasn't until I learned of and started working on metabolism, etc. that I really solved my issues. I'm a chiropractor by trade but have moved into coaching those with urgency and diarrhea like I dealt with because it's near and dear to my heart. I'm constantly learning so I in no way understand all the biochemistry, nor do I prescribe medicine, but I have been there and can provide support. **If this is inappropriate, feel free to take this post down.

I personally think it's great that you put yourself out there and hope your post isn't removed. It'd help if you gave a name, website/contact information, though. I hope others who do similar will post about their services. The more information, the better. Then, folks can make an informed decision based off of their needs.

Biochemist Benedicte Lerche gives online consultations. She has been in contact with Dr. Peat personally several years ago when she had health problems herself.

I do believe there are doctors and other health professionals out there that knows Dr. Peat's work, however would they not end up losing their license if they gave such advice to patients?
I remember reading that doctors in the US have to write a certain amount of prescriptions if they want to keep their license..

I am a dietitian and currently in the process of getting my license in Norway (it's been a long process since I studied in Australia) and my plan is to start my own private practice and hopefully a fertility clinic. But I am not sure I would be allowed to give consultations along with Dr. Peat's principles though I see people do it online.
A couple of years ago there was a doctor in Norway that had a different approach to treating his patients and were known to use bio identical hormones but unfortunately one of his patients ended up committing suicide and he was blamed for that and lost his license..

It would definitely be much easier if more health professionals knew about Dr. Peat and his research..

Thank you. I found her website: About me · Online Thyroid Specialist

I am hoping this informal directory-like post will help bring to light doctors throughout the world who know and/or practice RPs principles.

Best wishes on getting your license in Norway. Please post your contact information here once you are in a position to practice.

Thanks to the whole COVID plandemic, I hear a lot about Dr. Tenpenny, Dr. Ardis, Dr. Lee Merritt, Mercola, and others like them. Tenpenny and Mercola are DOs and Merritt is an MD. I think Tenpenny has an active clinic but don't know about Merritt or Mercola. Ardis, I believe is a chiro. Does anyone know if they, or others like them, see patients and, if so, if they are any good? They might not be of the same mindset as RP but I think they are awake and open-minded enough to consider and work with the concepts. For instance, I remember reading quite a while back about Mercola talking about Methylene Blue. The only other place I'd really heard about it was in the RP community. I also wonder if any of them would have a list of recommendations.

I really hope we can build up a resource. So many people want to get out of the big medicine sea/matrix but don't have any idea where to go. It's easy to say they should research and experiment but, the people I know need someone to guide them until they get their land legs under them and some of them don't have the benefit of time to sift through all the content, let alone sort out what it all means as it relates to them.
