Those are wonderful.

What's interesting to me is that in the past, people (even doctors), had a healthy scepticism regarding the value of doctoring / medicine.

The mistake we seem to have made in the late 20th and 21st centuries in actually believing that it's all so much better now, perhaps because we are throwing so much money at it.
