Need An Alternative To Elavil

I have a sleeping disorder that causes me to wake many times at night maybe a third of them I don't remember (according to a sleep study).

I was put on Elavil or amitriptylin and it worked really well at keeping me asleep and reducing sleep attacks during the day.

I stopped taking Elavil because of the long-term risks of dementia.

I am wanting to find an alternative in order to make my next career change less risky.

Amitriptyline is a tetracyclic antidepressant. Would K2 MK4 be a good alternative?
