Milk From PUFA Free Rats?

An interesting question occurred to me the other day. If a mother rat is raised 100% PUFA free, would the milk she feeds her babies also be PUFA free, or would it somehow contain low levels of endogenously produced PUFAs? If the latter, then that would be a little odd, because it might imply that young mammals are supposed to be fed some tiny amount of PUFAs (not necessarily, but that would be one competing interpretation). I'm hoping it's the former (that the milk would be PUFA free too), because that would be a pretty elegant and simple conclusion. But reality sometimes isn't elegant and simple. Does anyone know about any studies that can answer this particular question about milk from PUFA-free rodents? I would be very interested to read about it.
