Light, Water, and Melatonin: The Synergistic Regulation of Phase Separation in Dementia

This dose can be converted from rats to humans using the below conversion table, which for me, would be a dose of about 160 mg's of melatonin per day. Significantly higher than what's normally recommended for sleep.

No wonders why keeping no blue light before sleep helps tremendously. My experiments with dopamine detox included abstinence from entertainment, with only one yellow warm light 4 hours before sleep. Those were the best sleeps I ever had and I truly think it was melatonin build up. The next day felt like being in an aferglow.

I'm not a fan of it (having experimented myself with it at dosages of up to 5mg per day), but what have you noticed, and how much are you taking?
I've taken dosages ranging from micrograms to grams per day.

I've noticed nothing, good or bad. I do not take it consistently. My comment derived from all the studies I've read on the substance.
