Insulin Spike for Testosterone / Libido Boost?

I'm in a situation where I know when I'm going to be sexually active with my girl.
I've noticed if I eat ground beef with rice I get a libido boost around 3 hours later.
The love session is incredible! All systems good!

Why?
Could this be the insulin spike increasing androgens and sending L-Arganine to the brain?
Could this be the increase in glucose giving energy and raising dopamine?

I saw on @Hans website that Rice increases DHT. I know not to be afraid of spiking insulin as long as the fat is not too high and I control for calories.

I'm just interested in learning the mechanism.
The internet has conflicting data saying "Insulin lowers testosterone" which anecdotally I find false. What I think they're referring to is caused by sucrose and fructose which LOWERS INSULIN and therefore NO INCREASE of testosterone/DHT.

@Lokzo do you have a video on this?

Ground beef on it's own doesn't give the same effect. Also I noticed I don't get much of a libido boost when I add bone broth. Upon investigation, I think the glycine LOWERS INSULIN as well! Bone broth may be good for the long term but maybe not 3 hours before a love session. 🤔

Possible Conclusion?
If this mechanism is correct, a natural Viagra would be a bowl of beef and rice for that temporary insulin spike, right? Maybe this is why the Vertical Diet focuses on these foods for muscle building!

Nobody is talking about the libido boost!

What say you?

I would love @Hans or @Lokzo to do a video on the top foods to eat 3 hours before a love session. lol That video would get VIEWS!

Thank you for your time.

Beef is great for increasing dopamine as well and the insulin helps to lower cortisol, thus improving the testosterone-to-cortisol ratio. More T and dopamine are a winner. However, if the foods irritate the gut or mess with blood sugar regulation, then it's more likely to tank libido and energy. So it's good that it works for you.
Two other potential aphrodisiac foods are oysters and eggs.

Thank you Hans! Your videos have helped me a lot. I've also purchased a couple of your ebooks. When you say eggs I imagine you pronouncing it as "eggies". 😂

You're right about gut irritation, I've had to stop using hot sauce and hot salsa. My gut can't take it anymore.

Yes try the beef and rice without the bone broth. You may notice quite an increase in energy all around. I had to make sure I used a proper amount of rice as too little just made me tired. I do a quarter pound of ground beef with a 130 grams of rice. The ratio may be different for everyone I'd assume.

What do you add for flavour? Just salt?

In one meal I'll add a tablespoon of Tzaziki sauce, in the next meal I'll add sour cream and on cheat days I'll add everything into a soft taco size flour tortilla with a little mozzarella. Salt always.

Upon further experimentation, the gluten in the flour tortilla does not optimize anything. I've switched to corn tortillas and I'm now studying the effects of Gluten.

Just to be clear, I'm only speaking on the short term effects of Bone broth. In the long term, bone broth is good for DHT because the glycine is a potent activator of 5-alpha reductase type 1 and can increase allopregnanolone in the brain and is able to boost 5α-reductase mRNA and DHT levels.

This is why I would save my bone broth meals toward the end of the night before bed. I only noticed that the sedative effects weren't optimal before I knew I was going to "perform."

@Hans @Lokzo I was wrong! It wasn't just the insulin spike that was boosting libido, it was the leptin!

The combination of lean protein plus a STARCH (NOT sucrose or fructose) will boost leptin and libido big time for hours. It helps to fast or be in a slight caloric deficit before doing this to really "rev up" before a "session" with the lady. It's basically the science of a "cheat meal" or "carb refeed".

Thomas seems to have the only video talking about the libido connection this has.

So the bottom link basically answers it. You need to combine rice with protein to shuttle the amino acids into the muscles and create the insulin spike to stimulate androgens. You don't want to eat a bowl of white rice by itself with no protein as that insulin spike will only create serotonin and not raise androgens.
