Damn man, we're both on the same boat then. I wish I knew about aspirin and not ksm 66, some idiot recommended me ksm66 to help my adrenals and lower cortisol
i don't mind it that much tbh. it used to be much worse. i remember at my worst i felt like a literal sociopath. i remember my mother going through a health problem and i barely cared. i couldn't sympathize at all because of this herb. crazy stuff. definitely the most potent herb out there no doubt

For me, it was the pure aggression, if you triggered me, in my mind I wanted to kill you, which was quite bad. If only I could undo taking this crap, I have lived with anhedonia for a year, I can't deal with this anymore, literally I can't even study because I'm just not motivated anymore, and the anhedonia just worsens it. I hope someone here knows a way to restore your serotonin receptors back

also the funny thing about ash is that the first time you take it you can REALLY feel the effect. i remember when i first took it my knees literally became soft and i had a nice and relaxed feeling wash over me. now that i took it for a year straight at a high dose then quit for over 2 years i don't feel any effect AT ALL every time i try to reintroduce it. it feels like it has in some way permanently changed my neurotransmitter balance

yeah the aggression too. felt murderous at times. also just being blunt about things, even with your loved ones. not mincing words at all and not feeling bad about it at all

Same, for me, once I took it at night, and after 5-10 minutes I fell asleep, and it was the best sleep I ever had

Serotonin is the most ruthless and bad neurotransmitter ever. No cap at this point, yet these pharmaceutical idiots think this is the cure to depression smh

i honestly think im done taking any supplements, im just gonna eat normal and work on my character and habits. other than a few like magnesium and a few fat soluble vitamins. i feel like its not worth the risk, i dont want to risk wasting any amount of my life if i feel fairly normal without them

yeah stay away from herbs first and foremost would be my advice. unlike the more conventional supps like magnesium and vitamin d etc., you never know how a herb might affect you. we simply don't know all the different compounds and how they affect us, so even if a herb might seem beneficial at surface level, under the radar something bad might be happening. you don't know how and when it will show up, but it might just be too late at that point. just my 2c

Yes I do, after I ejaculate, within minutes my body would react physically, like my muscles twitching and my density going down a bit, I also feel my bones become less dense and whenever I go to the gym post ejaculate, my energy crashes, and I abruptly end my gym session because I don't have energy to move forward

You think this has some kind of connection to my prior pmo addiction? And do you know a way to restore your serotonin receptors back to normal?
I only get negative symptoms post orgasm from self stimulation without a partner. I can masturbate with my girlfriend and feel okay. If I try to masturbate to Porn, I get negative symptoms. I don’t have any problems following intercourse, except if I end up ejaculating too much in one day. I think the brain knows the difference between sex and self stimulation. For some reason.

Try masturbating to something you feel proud of. There is a feeling of satisfaction, as opposed to the feeling after masturbating to Porn.

I get that, it tends to happen with no porn either, like even just thoughts or randomly doing it. I’m not sure why.

How to cure the Ashwagandha-induced anhedonia effects? I still have it even months later, is it over? Some say Cyproheptadine works but it is prescription-only, is it even possible to cure Ashwagandha-induced sides? ????

There's a guy @Lokzo who recommended St John's Wort, but not the regular one, but the Ze 117 extract, he said that it helped him a lot and cured his ashwagandha-induced PSSD. Seeing as I am on the verge of giving up everything due to this madness of a disease, I bought a pack of this extract, it will take a few days before it arrives, and I will make a thread here documenting my results from it.

no idea bro. i think it's there to stay for a while. how long it will last will *probably* depend on how long you had taken it for. fasten your seatbelts and get comfy, it's been over 2 years for me, but i took it for a year straight DAILY in the doses of 400-800 mg of ksm-66, the one from jarrow

Hey, definitely keep us updated. I too suffer from what I believe to be KSM-induced anhedonia. I have the same extract as well but haven't taken it yet.
