So which hormone is the one that causes heavy bleeding? Estrogen or Progesterone? Also what do these numbers represent? Is this within normal ranges or do they indicate Estrogen dominance? Thank you!

The ratio of estradiol to progesterone is 227 pmol/L estradiol to <0.5 nmol/L progesterone

Estrogen is the culprit in most everything if you are a woman. As you age, and in our current environment, it is easy to become estrogen dominant. It is not an easy answer. You likely have hypothyroidism. Everything is interconnected. Dr. Peat wrote extensively on women's issues. Here is a site that aggragates his work and quotes. You will need to read alot and educate yourself. It takes time. But the first best place to start is to get some Progest-e and use it cynically in your cycle to start opposing that estrogen monthly.

Lol, that should have been "use cyclically" - darn auto correct 🤣
