how do you measure 2 grams? I just took 1/2 of table spoon and apparently it's much more than 2 grams :)
I use scales. Try googling some measuring solutions for BS

I've witnessed this many times. It takes 6 months or so of no porn, no fantasy and no masturbation, but it is pretty much a cure for depression and anxiety. You can fall off the wagon if you must, but eventually the 6 months adds up, and the brain has rewired and you are almost a new person.

Seen it always work, without fail.

Masturbation and porn mess some of us up so bad, that it really takes a radical cure to fix things, but it does fix things!

And then in my experience men start having sexual partners, attracting hot women, and having a great time, and they are onto a new life.

Masturbation is no good, and masturbation using porn is even worse for the brain. I actually cranked one out the other day after 8 months of not masturbating, and it threw me off. Hey, I am human though. The brain knows the difference, and I got so depressed and irritable.

Hey, i think this goes to porn addiction category but searching/looking hot pictures through out the day , almost constantly , has probably the same effects as porn right? Im not masturbating at all, but this need to get dopamine hits from pictures/instagram/youtube has the same effect..?

it has exactly the same effects. You have to stop all that. Anything "exciting" or arousing in the slightest...unless it's real sex with a partner.

It will get better, you're still very young. In terms of getting out of the house, resolving your social anxiety - that is something you can still work on.

Other posters have already said enough about the diet. Also quitting porn is good. But don't beat yourself up when you've watched porn - the whole guilt afterwards is a big part of the addiction process. Try to love and respect yourself, also when you mess up.

Another thing that can help on the mental part is cognitive behavioral therapy. Even if you don't want or can't afford a therapist, you can learn yourself a lot of techniques that can help. Did a psychiatrist prescribe those drugs to you? If you are only diagnosed with major depressive disorder such a multitude of drugs might be bad even from a regular non-Peat view.

Eat a ton of carrot and mushroom fiber and take the biggest poop of your life. That might help.
Beta-carotene could make depression worse. Much worse in my case.

It's not the same. It is bad but not AS bad as moving porn. A picture doesn't have movement and doesn't have sound.

Hello im an 18 year old male and i was diagnosed with major depressive disorder. I take welbutrin 150 mg and abilify 10 mg and vistaril 25 mg. October of last year i had testicular surgery for varicocele and torsion. The week after the surgery i was depressed and feeling hopeless. I wanted to end it all and it was just a very difficult time for me. A few weeks after the surgery i did something horrible to my testicles. I squeezed them hard. I didnt bust them or break them. I did this on two occasions. My scrotum was red from irritation. When i squeezed them the second time, my doctor said my testicles were fine. I think their fine as well, but i have anxiety about my sexual function. If my genitals get hit, my anxiety goes up and i get depressed. So everyday im careful and cautious of what im doing. Im even afraid to touch my penis. I have fears of it not working again or of it falling off. I do have a bad porn addiction which makes me depressed after i climax.
Im trying to get out of my depression. My diet isn't that good. I eat snacks all day and sometimes fast food and what my mother cooks for me. I started discovering the ray peat diet last year. The first time i tried it, it was working for me. I wasnt even on my antidepressants. Then one day i started watching porn again and i got depressed and started eating bad food again. I had to get on the antidepressants again. Now, im starting the diet again in the hopes that it cures my depression. I have social anxiety and i dont have any friends because of it. I stay in the house half of the day, then my mom might take me somewhere. Thats all i really do.

You could be living in nirvana free of oppression with access to all the creative preconditions in the world but left to eating a diet of solely soybean oil and you would face severe neurological disorders.

According to Chronometer:
1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda = 2.3 grams
1/2 a tablespoon of baking soda = 6.9 grams

Have you gotten your prolactin measured? Prolactin may have a significant impact on the post-ejaculatory period. It can cause feelings of fatigue if it is high. It tends to be released immediately after orgasm.

Six months of no masturbation will also cause prostate problems. IMO, 'Bro' science. When I was younger(sorry ladies) I masturbated everyday, had great erections and zero sexual function problems. Always had a high sex drive. Prolactin was probably low, as refractory period was short when I was with a woman. I've also had depression since I was a teenager and suicidal feelings/thoughts. Masturbation to my sexual fantasies soothed me. And in that regard...

...Fantasies. When you're young, whether male or female, fantasies go hand in hand with a well functioning endocrine system. Your androgen/neuro-steroid levels are high and well balanced. I'll agree that porn might be problematic for men, young or not young, and even that isn't totally established. I'm married 25 years and my wife has unresolved sexual issues from when she was young(20s-30s). Our sex/love life has been non-existent for over 10 years. There's no 'magic' about refraining from porn, fantasies and masturbation.

If that regime worked for you, I congratulate you, but it's not science and it could lead to physical and emotional discomfort.

But not ejaculating causes no prostate problems. If you have a wet dream, that’s your body’s way of dealing with it. Anyway, whatever. The science supposedly behind this is false and there are ample studies that are well done to show that you don’t need to frequently ejaculate for prostate health. I will say no more.
