Can you fill glycogen stores with fructose?
I have read that only the liver stores fructose (about 70 gram) but not the rest of the body... glycogen in muscles gets filled with glucose?

What happends with the rest of fructose after you consume lets say more then 100 gram of fructose? Will it get converted to fat?

How to fill glycogen in muscles?

The liver converts the fructose to glycogen foe storage and then the excess it converts to glucose which it sends elsewhere, such as the muscle.

Only a small amount of fructose is converted to fat, between 1-5% of a ginormous amount. This is obviously increase with things that increase lipogenesis, such as oxidative stress, mitochondrial defects, etc.

Muscles can also uptake fructose, but its pretty slow.
