I don't respond well to this med. I don't get it. It's described as a "wonder drug" but when I take I feel awful. Angry/irritable, cold hands and feet, etc.

I can relate. I have a rat feeling cold hands and feet even during the day and also I have seen a 5% to 10% drop in pulse/temps readings.
Maybe it lowers some stress hormones and therefore leaves low thyroid activity evident? I'm giving Cypro 1 mg each 8 hours to my rat to see if it helps with some GI problems, since about a few weeks rat is having diarrhea from OJ.
