I came across the following diagram. Should we be concerned with our higher uses of aspirin. Perhaps the benefits outweigh the negatives. My apologies for the poor formatting and if this has been discussed already.

Should this be of concern considering :
- melanin absorbs heavy metals ( New melanic pigments in the human brain that accumulate in aging and block environmental toxic metals )
- more melanin = less risk of DNA damage ( The Protective Role of Melanin Against UV Damage in Human Skin )
- melanin on ADHD ( https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-019-12895-y )
- melanin and melanoma ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4450257/ )

- melanin and electrons. this study shows melanin can help the bacteria to: STUDY
( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/ar...s electrochemical properties which,22, 23, 30).

  • Reduce iron minerals that are hard to dissolve. This means that the bacteria can break down the iron and use it for energy or other needs.
  • Transfer electrons to and from other substances. This means that the bacteria can use melanin as a way of moving electric charges around, which is important for chemical reactions and energy production.
  • Survive in low-oxygen conditions by using melanin as an alternative source of electrons. This means that the bacteria can breathe with melanin when there is not enough oxygen around.

good to know. Maybe being more protective from sunlight is important when taking aspirin… depending on how white you are of course

Well, aspirin inhibits inflammation and stress, and those 2 are needed for adaptation. So it doesn't surprise me that aspirin reduces adaptation. I still believe that if your highly inflamed aspirin will be helpful, and if you're not then avoid using it. Most hypothyroid people suffer from chronic inflammation so in their case aspirin will actually help with adaptation instead of inhibit it.

Go by feel.
