Anyone Familiar With The So-called "P-Shot"

I have people I know who are going to get them.

I think it seems like a terrible idea but I have no data.

There is little data on it - the reviews talk about almost immediate effects, but nothing about longer term risks or side effects. From what I've read it's expensive ~$2500 and you need to have it done every year to maintain the effects, if it works at all.
