I'm using an amber filter to block the blue waves from my incandescent bulb. Unexpectedly, it doesn't feel good at all -both with another regular incandescent on, and by itself-, so I went back to regular incandescent. I'll try again at some point.

I'm more used to the light through the amber filter now. I also started using it to filter my computer screen today. It's all good, except that the visited and not-visited links look like the same color.

The computer screen with the amber filter I'm using looks a lot more orange than 2700K f.lux.

I use the combination of an amber filter and f.lux at 3000k. Less than that is too orange.
