I am a 49 year old female, been lifting weights to increase muscle mass, 100 grams protein per day per doc recommendation.
Switched to Barre classes for leg work as that was/is my main focus.
I feel stronger and more muscular.
Last fall my urine specimen was flagged as high protein.
Been on NP 60 mg in the AM before breakfast for hypothyroidism and DHEA 5 mg lozenges daily and 4 mg/gram topical cream every other day.
Stopped the DEHA about 3 weeks ago as it seems to have converted to estrogen — gained subcutaneous fat and breasts swelled up to size DD.
My doc recommended an appointment with a kidney specialist.
Do steroids like thyroid, Testosterone create kidney problems ?
I love my thyroid as it helps me sleep, feel warm and lets me go to the bathroom once a day oh and no more migraines.
Also no autoimmune Lupus diagnosis.
What now?
Thank you
