Hello everyone!
It's a pleasure to be here - I feel like since a week or so I'm not doing anything other than reading about Ray Peat's philosophy, way of eating etc. I've been struggling with my health for over 6 years now - it all started with lyme with co infections and was getting worse and worse. So to sum up last year it's been: lyme and co infections, candida, parasites, SIBO, histamine intolerance. My main symptoms are: diziness, fatigue (I feel tired like almost all the time), I used to have air hunger and chest tightness much more often, now it's only occasionaly thank God. Nowadays it's mainly diziness and neurological symptoms.
I tried carnivore for 3 months this year, it really helped me with bloating and stuff but didn't feel much of a difference besides that. I started adding carbs - mostly rice, when I wanted to go more into sugar: raw milk, fruits and honey, I didn't really feel well after some time. I felt like I was attacked by parasites again - dizziness worsen and mostly chest tightness and breathing dificulties.
1. Because of all of the above, I don't really eat sugar - only rice as a source of carbs (about 33% of calories intake). I wonder if that's okay? What do you think? Everyone says you shouldn't really eat sugar why treating all those things. But I'm not eating it and still I don't feel well. My TSH is pretty low - 1,28 mIU/L.
2. I keep getting parasites like every 3 months, so now I decided to focus on fixing my stomach acid level - I feel like it can be a problem. I'm supplementing Betaine HCL, Vitamin B complex and Pepsin GI zinc. Would you suggest something else?
3. Maybe someone treated lyme with no antibiotics? What's your experience? I've got to take herbs now, I've been treated with antibiotics for like 9 months in the past and right now my gut won't really tolerate antibiotics longer than few days.
In summary, my whole diet right now is: rice, ground beef, gelatine, eggs, butter, olives, bone broth, occasionally some chicken and turkey/beef liver. I drink a lot of salt with my water and supplement betaine hcl, glicyne, b vitamins, vitamin d&k, some candida and lyme herbs, zinc.
I would so much appreciate any feedback from you guys. What do you think I could do better? Thank you, cheers.
