Serum Lh Is 27? (range 1-9)

I have no idea what this means but my doctor just said "you have pcos" and that if I go low carb it will go away...

Fsh was normal.

also by the way this is from a test i did in december. it was flagged as "normal" and my gp called me today to tell me about it, no apology!

i suppose what i'm asking is what the main cause might be? does lh increase my very low/flat thyroid function?

oh, and testosterone is low-normal
