From blueletterbible.comPray for the scales to fall off your eyes. Look at the scriptures you posted, it goes from fear to praise, fear to worship, fear to righteousness. Does that even make sense? Change fear to revere and then Praise God for showing you the Truth of how Loving and Amazing He is.
revere - to show devoted deferential honor to : regard as worthy of great honor
yārē' ( the Hebrew root word for at least once instance of "fear" )
- to fear, revere, be afraid
- (Qal)
- to fear, be afraid
- to stand in awe of, be awed
- to fear, reverence, honour, respect
- (Niphal)
- to be fearful, be dreadful, be feared
- to cause astonishment and awe, be held in awe
- to inspire reverence or godly fear or awe
- (Piel) to make afraid, terrify
- (Qal)
- (TWOT) to shoot, pour
יָרֵא yârêʼ, yaw-ray'; a primitive root; to fear; morally to revere; causatively to frighten:—affright, be (make) afraid, dread(-ful), (put in) fear(-ful, -fully, -ing), (be had in) reverence(-end), × see, terrible (act, -ness, thing).
I tend to agree with your stance that it is more of a reverence as well, it doesn't make sense for us to be afraid in a loving relationship.
