Has anyone ever found organic glycine for sale?

I know that glycine is made from corn, so I guess organic glycine would have be from organic corn.

As far as I know, glycine is made from commercial corn, grown using glyphosate.

Glycine from corn? I think glycine is mostly from animal sources…

“Where is glycine found naturally?

Glycine is found in varying amounts in meat, especially in tough cuts like the chuck, round and brisket. You can also get glycine from gelatin, a substance made from collagen that's added to various food products to improve consistency.”

When I contacted companies that sell - glycine supplements - , they said their glycine supplement was made from (non-organic) corn.

i don’t think it is a good source for several reasons…

Since isolated glycine and other amino acids are produced as by products, the concentration in the original source may not be an issue. Huge amounts of corn are processed for carbohydrates and ethanol, for example. The oil, proteins and hydrolyzed amino acids are by products. Similarly amino acids are produced from whey by products of cheese.

Would it matter if it's a pure product or as close to pure as possible? I remember an interview where Dr. Peat talked about Progest-E. And he said it doesn't matter whether the diosgenin was synthesized from soy or other products, because the end product was so pure that the source didn't matter anymore.
