Iron Heme And Iron Salts

Hello! Anyone knows about the effects/absorption of inorganic iron (like glycine-iron) vs organic heme iron? I'm asking here because I want to try a multivit which has a bit of iron (which is like 14mg). I know that Peat suggest the beef liver once a week, which make me think that iron is not a big problem when consumed in small quantities (in the long run). So I'm asking if the inorganic iron could be worst than the organic one (or maybe better because it is less absorptive?). Forgive my bad english I'm italian :)
