Lidocaine or Articaine used as a local anaesthetic injected in the gum for a dental filling?

Dentist says he prefers Articaine because Lidocaine is not as strong an reliable as Articaine.

it's only for a small filling though, shouldn't be an issue

I did actually use Articaine last and had no issues from it.

(I've only got the choice of them two)

I have heard Ray Peat ingesting lidocaine so would trust that more.

Ray said the epinephrine in numbing agents can be a problem, basically its adrenaline. I made sure my dentist did not use it. It takes a bit longer, and a bit more to get it numb but well worth the wait in my opinion.
