I posted the other day about most medications, including cyproheptadine not having any noticable effect on me.
Then yesterday as usual I took 2mg of cyproheptadine at lunch. No effect as usual.
But a few hours later I had a beer and within 30 minutes I could barely walk or keep my eyes open.
Then I remembered last Thanksgiving I took 2 benadryl hoping they would help with my stuffy nose. About an hour later I had a glass of wine and within 30 minutes I had the same response.
I don't drink alcohol much but I can normally drink a couple beers and only have the slightest buzz so I know it wasn't just the alcohol making me feel that way.
I've taken 4mg of cypro before and felt very little to no drowsiness and regularly take 2mg at least once per day with no drowsiness. Why does just one drink of alcohol cause me to feel its affects so much?
