It would sting. Have you tried baking soda? I just put a tablespoon of baking soda in a little jar, add an inch or two of water, give it a stir, then dip a few fingers in and wipe it on the under arm. This is the best solution I have found also.Have you ever tried milk of magnesia in a spray bottle? Works great for me, you still sweat normally (which is good) but it doesn't stink.
