I was about to post this same exact reasoning. I agree.
Regarding implants, I had a zirconium implant instead and so far so good. AFAIK they are safer than titanium ones.

In the past year I have had 3 root canals on the same front tooth with no relief of pain with chewing or touch. The Endo now wants to do an apicoectomy. Any thoughts on this?
