Yes I haven't seen much immunology work that shows off more legitimate mechanisms like this - do you know of any?

I wish doctors around here would agree. They are still trying to vaccinate everyone for everything.

Can anyone find the survey that this article is written about? I looked on the Frontiers in Public Health site that the article was supposedly published but it is wasn't there.

So we are left with a blog article from a anti-vaccination biased site quoting a reference that isn't there and we are meant to take this as good information? :banghead:

As a counter point: Vaccination Status and Health in Children and Adolescents: Findings of the German Health Interview and Examination Survey for Children and Adolescents (KiGGS)
Vaccination Status and Health in Children and Adolescents
Findings of the German Health Interview and Examination Survey for Children and Adolescents (KiGGS)

    Abstract

    Background
Whether unvaccinated children and adolescents differ from those vaccinated in terms of health is subject to some discussion.

    Method
We evaluated data on diseases that are preventable by vaccination, infectious and atopic diseases, and vaccinations received that had been collected between 2003 and 2006 in a representative sample of 17 641 subjects aged 0 to 17 years in the framework of the German Health Interview and Examination Survey for Children and Adolescents (Kinder- und Jugendgesundheitssurvey, KiGGS).

    Results
Evaluable data on vaccinations were available for 13 453 subjects aged 1–17 years from non-immigrant families. 0.7% of them (95% confidence interval: 0.5%–0.9%) were not vaccinated. The lifetime prevalence of diseases preventable by vaccination was markedly higher in unvaccinated than in vaccinated subjects. Unvaccinated children aged 1–5 years had a median number of 3.3 (2.1–4.6) infectious diseases in the past year, compared to 4.2 (4.1–4.4) in vaccinated children. Among 11- to 17-year-olds, the corresponding figures were 1.9 (1.0–2.8) (unvaccinated) versus 2.2 (2.1–2.3) (vaccinated). The lifetime prevalence of at least one atopic disease among 1- to 5-year-olds was 12.6% (5.0%–28.3%) in unvaccinated children and 15.0% (13.6%–16.4%) in vaccinated children. In older children, atopy was more common, but its prevalence was not found to depend on vaccination status: among 6- to 10-year-olds, the prevalence figures were 30.1% (12.9%–55.8%) for unvaccinated children versus 24.4% (22.8%–26.0%) for vaccinated children, and the corresponding figures for 11- to 17-year-olds were 20.3% (10.1%–36.6%) versus 29.9% (28.4%–31.5%).

    Conclusion
The prevalence of allergic diseases and non-specific infections in children and adolescents was not found to depend on vaccination status.

Out of a population of 10 million at that time, those are staggering numbers. Probably they weren't able to impose their will on the Muslims in the south of the country.

This was roughly a generation after the Philippines declared independence (1898) from Spain, only for Spain to cede the Philippines to the Americans without a fight. After Filipinos were "pacified," teachers were quickly sent to the Philippines to establish a public school system. How effective it must have been that the general population in so short order became "educated" and acquiesced to a wholesale vaccination program that killed so many.

I'm just glad those days are over. Wikileaks would have saved those people. Still, as in the rest of the world. our doctors still hew to the party line - putting their faith and trust in vaccines that had such a dark history. And that legacy survives to the present. Stronger than ever. Protected by law by congress. And its harm spares no one.

Thanks for the informative bits of history, @yerrag . Yes, it seems the whole medical establishment is sold on that, either in a well-intended, ignorant way or for profit motives (doctors are "compensated" $$$ the more they vaccinate).
I've been watching a docu-series http://www.vaccinesrevealed.com/ that started airing yesterday (very interesting speakers so far), and one of today's speakers, Dr. Suzanne Humphries did say after the 25:00 mark : "The most highly vaccinated populations for smallpox were the populations that developed some of the worst and most devastating and deadly smallpox epidemics." And that this happened in particular in Japan, Germany, England and the United States. Sounds like what happened in the Philippines.

Read the results discussion very carefully. They state "The lifetime prevalence of diseases preventable by vaccination was markedly higher in unvaccinated than in vaccinated subjects." But the results show the opposite, that unvaccinated children in just about every age group had a lower rate of disease then the vaccinated ones. Then they contradict not only their own results but also the quote above in their conclusion by saying there is no difference.

I guess if you cant get the data you want just lie about it and hope no one will read the actual data.

Obvious to most but not all, the study below reports a positive correlation between the number of vaccines given in early childhood and infant mortality rates. Hmm and I thought vaccines wee supposed to save lives.
Infant mortality rates regressed against number of vaccine doses routinely given: Is there a biochemical or synergistic toxicity?
    Abstract
The infant mortality rate (IMR) is one of the most important indicators of the socio-economic well-being and public health conditions of a country. The US childhood immunization schedule specifies 26 vaccine doses for infants aged less than 1 year—the most in the world—yet 33 nations have lower IMRs. Using linear regression, the immunization schedules of these 34 nations were examined and a correlation coefficient of r = 0.70 (p < 0.0001) was found between IMRs and the number of vaccine doses routinely given to infants.
