I cam across a more powerful version of CoQ10 that seemed very interesting. MitoQ is able to get into the mitochondria unlike CoQ10 by using a positive charge. They make targeted formulas for heat, skin, liver, blood sugar, and general. Looks like there are lots of studies on this product.

    From their web site:
MitoQ boosts mitochondria, your cellular batteries, 847x more effectively than other CoQ10 formulas.

MitoQ is a new type of antioxidant that protects mitochondria, our "cellular batteries". Mitochondria are in every cell in our body, and generate the energy that is vital for life. They are concentrated in organs that require the most energy, like the brain, heart and liver.

Mitochondrial dysfunction is now understood to be present in over 200 diseases and conditions that range from diabetes and liver disease to Alzheimer’s and heart disease.

Supplementing regularly with MitoQ re-energises your cells so that they can self-repair, work optimally and correct oxidative stress imbalances. This helps to reduce free radical damage and slow the ageing process.

It offers nothing that a combination of regular CoQ10 and saturated phosphatidylcholine, dissolved as a mix in tocopherol/oil would not achieve. In addition, vitamin K2 beats CoQ10 quite easily in terms of mitochondrial benefits even without the special "patented" enhancements.
