Any theories as to how learning works? I was pondering recently whether we are born with certain predispositions. So for example someone might do really well in maths and science in general and someone else might do better in arts. Or is this something that we were conditioned to like/prefer, e.g. Hearing things like boys do better in maths, etc.? Or perhaps it is both? There are also individuals that do equally well in both fields, Leonardo da Vinci and obviously RP, who even suggests that people need to explore, practice both. I have always struggled with science and took me longer to understand anything involving logic. Can this be practiced, improved or is there not much one can do to change/influence this? I'd be interested in your views.
