Have TSH slightly above 2 , would like to get below towards around 1.0 with small doses of thyroid, both my general practitioner and endocrinologist says I'm not getting a prescription as long as I'm in the "normal" reference range (which we all know is far too wide nowadays, usually all the way up to 5.0)
Not sure what to do now. Do I have to try visiting like hundreds of different endocrinologists until I find one that gives me a prescription? Or is there an easier way?
Also, how come all kinds of animal organs like liver, heart, tongue, etc. are available in supermarkets but not thyroid?
