Prolactin stands out as being very high. Vit D a little low.

Not experienced at reading labs so don't know if liver numbers or cholesterol is cause for concern.

Thanks for any input

These are different numbers than we use where I am.

Still ... Yes, prolactin very high there. Do all the estrogen lowering things to help that.
Yes, you want to raise your D and get it up to the high end.

I recall that contrary to what is generally thought, better to have LDL higher than HDL, but memory foggy.
Not sure if your LDL is too high. The overall cholesterol is high, but, again our numbers are so different.
I think from 200-250 total cholesterol is what we like to see... but on our scale. so..

Your TSH is too high. You can work on that with thyroid. Do you take it?
Okay, I'm tired... :)

@Birdie, thank you for the reply.

I have made prolactin and estrogen my main priority at the moment and have been doing a number of things. :) I did take the blood test as soon as I had woken up, and fasted. I have seen a few people on here mention that is when prolactin is at it's highest, so I wonder if that has skewed my number a little. I have no doubt I have high prolactin though.

If the online tools are accurate, my cholesterol converts to 259, which is not far from the numbers I have seen Peat mention, so I am not too concerned.

No I don't take thyroid. I don't really want to start it and then have to take it for the foreseeable future. I was hoping to improve with the thyroid surrogates, such as caffeine, niacinamide, vit D, before resorting to thyroid, but not sure how effective this strategy will be.

I think ray doesn't like high triglycerides.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

And obviously your TSH is high.

I think vitamin d level of around 40ng is optimal, that converts to 100nmol I think.

I like my cholesterol in that range too. Thanks for the conversion figure.
We are working on prolactin and estrogen with my husband. Gynecomastia evidence of high levels. So, I'm very alert and hope we can fix that.
Oh, yes, maybe those other measures will work before thyroid use....

What are you doing to address the high prolactin?
Just about everything Ray recommends. The more I read the more I add. One thing I did years ago first finding Peat was adding Glycine. I'd stopped and now added it back when I saw reminders from other people around here.

We've used NDT for about 20 years. Every so often we get our rT3 done. Last time his was high. So, he's back to taking T3 bits during the day. He had stopped.

He stopped the carrot salad for maybe 2 years. He's back to eating carrot sticks now. He started penicillin yesterday.

I put prolactin in the search box just now and this came up. Can't seem to copy the link.

Age? (if you want to give it)

My prolactin is high too despite doing most of the things generally recommended in these parts (tho I did push it too far with supps). Are you taking pregnenolone? I think my ~40 mg/day was converting to stress hormones.

Almost everyone does these tests fasting. So relatively your prolactin is still high.

24. Not taking preg and never taken it for any considerable amount of time. Wanting to take a small amount on my testicles via pansterone though.

Have you tried thyroid or vit e?

Yes. I was on the following when I got my results back:

oral pregnenolone (40 mg/day), 2-3 g of eggshell calcium, BCAA, tyrosine, lycine, taurine, Vit D (5,000 IU), E (400 IU/day), A (15,000 IU/day), K2 (5-60 mg/day), aspirin (80mg 4x week), niacinamide (500 mg 3x week), methylene blue (1mg/day). Cyproheptadine (1 -2 mg 3x week).
