Test Results In - Way Forward?

Got my labs results back and I am a bit lost. The reason for the test was sub-optimal feeling for the last year (lower than usual libido, hair loss onset (diffuse), small loss of eyebrow hair, general loss of "alpha"-feeling). Otherwise, I feel healthy, good energy, good sleep, train 3-4 times a week, ok level of stress, etc.)

Avoiding vegetable oils, low/moderate dairy.

Supplements - K, E (mixed), beef liver tablets, gelatin, glycine, Ashwagandha and a small dose of nettle/saw palmetto.

Male, 36 y/o, 190 lbs (low fat %)

Most are in "ref. range" but I am not convinced some hormones are where the should/could be? Appreciate help with interpretation.

Iron 12 ref. 9 - 34 µmol/L

High LDL and cholesterol might suggest that you are not converting them(with vitamin A) to pregnenolone, so lowering your progesterone and DHEA production.

PUFA intake and unsaturated fatty liver can block this production. Read up on PUFA depletion, low fat, adequate calcium, sugar intake and things that help the liver (K2, caffeine, taurine, glycine, aspirin, B3)

Thx for your input, really appreciate it!

DHEA is at top of reference range and progesterone is almost twice above. Should I be looking to lower them? I was thinking more about the relatively high normal ranges of SHBG and estrogen.

Already trying to lower PUFAs as much as possible but it is difficult. Probably eating too much fat relative to other macros. Liver values seem fine?

Also, not sure what to think about the thyroid panel - not stoked with the results but not panicking either?

Your lab results indicate mild hypothyroidism. A 24-hour urine cortisol test would be insightful. Do you drink coffee?

That is what I figured. Thx for your input. Not sure if it is enough to do something about though? Yet, it was enough to make me go take the tests so....

I drink coffee but not alot. One cup first thing in morning then another around lunch. Rest is herbal tea, green tea, OJ, pomegranate juice, cocunut milk.
