I'm about a year or two into menopause, and my thyroid is whacked. What I thought were symptoms of low estrogen are actually thyroid symptoms -- dry skin, hair loss, sympathetic overdrive, etc. I think I'm swinging back and forth between high and low thyroid, but mostly high. I need to understand what's happening. What's the relationship of thyroid to menopause?
