I second the magnesium suggestion. It relax bronchial tubes. I've had great success with topical. Why would you want cortisol to not be low? (I mean, not low as in deficiency, just right on range). It is immunosupressive if high.

It's lower than the range or at least it was and in times past when I used it it kept me up at night and made me tired during the day.

Oh, I understand. Well, keep in mind glycine can sometimes lower cortisol. Hope you get some relief!

I should have known, lol.

I shouldn't have said that I don't have any gut issues, I'm not sure actually.

I've had a white coated tongue for the last 3 years - that's what originally got me started on low carb.

It did seem to subside quite a bit when I was on the higher dose of NDT but it's back again quite strong. Maybe lowering the thyroid dose was complete coincidence though
