I take DAO enzymes because of a somewhat low enzyme value on a Genova test a couple years back.
I had no "histamine" symptoms of any kind.
These DAO enzymes are really expensive. I would love to stop taking them.
My diet now, in terms of mineral support, is much better than it was two years ago.
I am looking into trying Cyproheptadine, for sleep.
Would Cypro help me deal with any exogenous dietary histamines (my diet is fairly low-histamine, except for milk and red meat)?
Would Cypro help me deal with endogenous histamines (I assume that is what it does best)?
My main issue is waking up several times each night.
Yes, I do have elevated cortisol at night.
