Maybe, but India’s vaccinated population is relatively small (less than 2% fully vaccinated).

26 million my friend and not 260 million.2% of 1.3 billion is 260 million.
That is largely enough to explain the "disease" surge shown in the first graph.
Excellent points. Thanks.Either they got in a mass shipment of PCR test supplies in sometime in late March or April, or they decided to jack up the cycles of the test.
Cases don't necessarily mean anything, and neither do deaths in this context. On average, you there would be 26,000 deaths from all causes in India every day, so if there is some new aggressive order to rebrand 10% of deaths as so called "Covid Deaths," that is all that is needed for this change.
Everyone has been looking at Covid figures out of context. That's the only way they can get something that is "associated" with only 2.5% of deaths to seem like a "Pandemic." By literally ignoring the other 97.5% of deaths. If any focus is brought back to the "Cancer Pandemic" or the "Heart Disease Pandemic," this entire narrative unravels very quickly.

Maybe this is the big issue?
They are smart because they are a lot.But Indians are very smart. Perhaps it is just brain drain, but the indians in the US are super smart, productive and family oriented.
True, when I go out to eat with them, I can't believe the fried pufa drenched cornupocia. I don't know how they survive it.

I haven't mentioned protein deficiency.Protein deficiency didn't create a spurt in deaths within a 2 months frame, it's a gradual process.
Something acute is at play.

80% of India’s population work in the informal sector on a day to day, hand to mouth basis and many have again suffered a loss of income [6].
India has much greater public health problems than that posed by SARS COV2 which comes nowhere near the top ten causes of death, trumped by the following highly communicable diseases: diarrhoea at 720,000 deaths per annum, lower respiratory tract infections at 520,000 deaths per annum and tuberculosis at 450,000 deaths per annum [7].
Bodhgaya is almost entirely dependent on Buddhist pilgrimage trade that has been non-existent since lockdown began on March 12th 2020, [...] However, this month the temple built around the sacred Bodhi tree once again closed. The town has a 7pm curfew, like many other areas of India. All educational institutions are closed from kindergarten to university. Remote learning is not available to the vast majority of children and young people, who are again falling behind and no longer learning. People are again suffering from lost employment and falling trade, their savings drained and sources of charity exhausted.
Having lost their traditional source of income, many men from the surrounding town left Bodhgaya to search for work in the cities when lockdown lifted. After returning home for the national festival of Holi with their families, most were barred from crossing state lines to search for work unless they agreed to be vaccinated, [...] Most migrant workers are faced with little choice: they comply with vaccination or they and their families starve.
The vast majority of Indian people live with a much higher level of risk to their health and well being on a daily basis than COVID could ever present to them, and the stories circulating about adverse effects of the vaccine outnumber those about people dying of COVID. He reported how many older people are ‘dying of a broken heart’ or depression now that they have lost their income and see no pathway to economic recovery. Many have stopped eating, cannot sleep and are suffering from serious mental health problems as the goalposts set by the government change constantly, and they can see no end to the current restrictions and ensuing poverty.
Fearful of a strict lockdown that had abruptly shut off transport and forced migrants to walk hundreds of kilometers home or stay shut in, in tiny city tenements last year, Kumar took no chances. Last week, he returned to his village.
“I could not risk what happened last time. I was stranded in Delhi for two months and had to take out a 25,000 rupee [about $350] loan to buy food and pay rent,” a dispirited Kumar said. “I had barely repaid half of it when I lost my job again.”
“There is no way to make a living in the village, but at least I don’t have to pay rent,” he said.
India's sweeping and badly-planned lockdown last year had forced more than 10 million migrant workers to flee the big cities they worked in.
The bedraggled men and women had left on foot, on cycles, on supply trucks and later in trains. More than 900 of them died on their way home, including 96 who died in trains.
The two were part of a group of 17 workers who lived at a construction site in Mumbai. When the lockdown was announced on 24 March last year, they found themselves stuck without much food and money. Their contractor gave them just 1,000 rupees, but it was not enough to sustain their food needs for more than a week.
Stepping outside was risky because the police were beating up people on the roads for breaking lockdown rules. On video calls from their worried families, they broke down. Hunger was the "biggest problem".
Across the city, Ms Sawant said, employers and their contractors had switched off their phones and abandoned the workers. One worker turned up looking for soap, saying he had been bathing for 20 days without using one. Another said he was not able to access a public toilet for three days because he did not have the money to access a paid facility in his slum.

The fact that now some of those deaths are attributed to scientifically meaningless covid positive tests means nothing. It's still 10x less than a level anyone should care about as meaningful enough to attract attention.
Yet we are talking about it here as the propaganda is so strong.
