We’ve had the creepiest new “see something, say something” public service announcement campaign on our cable channels. I think it’s the state Public Health Service doing it. All the PSAs during the past 2 yrs have been like some totalitarian story board. Peat has spent his life warning about this.
Those campaigns used to be just, “see something, say something.” Bad enough. The PSAs now say, “If you see something suspicious report it to your local authorities.”
If they start giving cash prizes for that I’m just going to call it Fully Automated Luxury Totalitarianism.
