I work at a University where I have had the chance to teach, work alongside and socialise with people from many many nationalities. One of the things that ALL people that I know and met have in common is measuring themselves against others and finding ways in which they feel they stand out and are superior to you. ALL the races I've taught have shown instances where they demonstrate the tendency to think their race is superior. All think they are superior in some way or another. Chinese KNOW they are superior LOL. If you want to run up against egos that cannot be swayed by logic then get involved with them. Some of them are the strongest supremacist thinkers I've come across.

So the idea that white supremacy in the US is the biggest threat is only a conclusion made by people who have drunk the PC cool aid and think other races are somehow different to whites and are benign. They are not. Any country that is multicultural has groups of people running around within it thinking they are superior and vying to re-shape the country into their image of what is best. To claim that whites are the only race that does this is just naive.

But there is a difference between ethno-centrism/arrogance and American/White exceptionalism. I would agree that many (most?) cultures display the former. My children always seem better looking and smarter than yours . . . to me.

Exceptionalism is a theory, a claim, that one group is somehow better than others and therefore should be deferred to, followed, preferred, emulated, and exhalted. The reasoning is inevitably ethnocentric, but it is a whole agenda beyond arrogance and pride.

I think that rather than anything being revealed, we are seeing a severe perversion of sexualities of men and women alike. I agree that such perversion is not compatible with cultural progress: it is an antithesis to any kind of progress, as are all forms of hedonism. Culture is born first out of accepting and then out of harnessing one's sexuality, not out of indulging in it to the point of perversion and debility.
