Hey there, wanted to share a nice 2020 study on DHT.
" DHT inhibited LPS-induced release of proinflammatory factors, including TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6; iNOS, COX-2, NO, and PGE2 in BV2 cells and primary microglia by suppressing the TLR4-mediated NF-κB and MAPK p38 signaling pathways".
" DHT exerts anti-neuroinflammatory and neuroprotective effects; improves cognitive and behavioral function in neuroinflammation-related diseases."
Really interesting thing that DHT itself protects from LPS.
Perhaps that's why actually high Testosterone & DHT make you calm, productive, logical and sharp-minded. Where as cortisol, adrenalin, estrogen & serotonin promote the brain fog, rapid emotional shifts and unclear mind.
